Clouds and Stars

Just finished a pair of day and night illustrations.

Drawing a character with a vast, big sky has always been a joy to draw for me. I’m very much drawn by the the idea of being alone in a large, empty space. That sounded weird, but I associate being in a large empty space, with freedom and calm, rather than loneliness or sadness. It could probably go both way, depending on the person.
